Hi, I’m Dr. Nouf Al-Rashid, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My journey in psychology began with an undergraduate degree at the University of Kent, followed by a master’s degree at Kings College London. After several years of clinical work in Saudi Arabia, I returned to California to complete my doctorate in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute, with a focus on child and adolescent psychology. I also completed my pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco, where I specialized in working with immigrant communities, particularly Middle Eastern and North African populations.
Therapy sessions are currently offered virtually using a HIPAA-secure audio/video platform.
Virtual (telehealth) therapy can be highly effective for a wide range of mental health concerns. However, like any approach, it does have some limitations compared to in-person sessions. As a result, virtual therapy may not be the best fit for everyone. We will discuss these considerations in detail during our first intake session, and as needed throughout treatment to ensure the approach continues to meet your needs.
